Youth Mental Health First Aid helps adults discover how to recognize
the signs and symptoms that suggest a potential mental health
challenge, how to listen nonjudgmentally, how to connect to a youth
who may be experiencing a mental health challenge, and how to refer a
person to appropriate professional support and services.
This is a blended in-person course. Registrants will receive an email
invitation that will provide access to material that must be completed
online prior to attending the in-person training event. The
approximate time commitment for the online pre-work is 2.5
hours.
This training is available to adult members, and
non-members.
You may qualify to earn valuable continuing
education units (CEU) in your respective profession. If you would like
to receive CEUs for this course, you will need to research and request
the necessary documentation to file for CEU credit
independently.
