Get ready to Canoe, Kayak, and Paddle Board!
Seniors will earn their Paddle Badge, and Cadette and Ambassadors will earn a fun patch.
Girls will try out three different paddle sports, learn safety maneuvers, and practice proper boat safety. With a fun boating adventure out into Lake Martin, girls will learn how to file a float plan. By the end of this camp, girls will be confident in their small boating skills!
Please make sure to pack sunscreen, swimsuit, water shoes, sunglasses with a strap, and a hat. Girls are welcome to bring their own life vest.
Due to the focus on paddle sports, girls attending need to be comfortable in the water and be able to swim 30 feet without a life vest.
Those attending will need to bring a lunch for Saturday. This helps us to have more time and fun out on the water!
!! Four female adults will have the opportunity to stay overnight with the responsibility of cooking dinner for the group.
