Join Girl Scout sisters in celebrating International Day of the Girl
2025! Girl Scouts will celebrate the power of girls and highlight,
discuss, and take action to advance the rights of and opportunities
for girls everywhere. We know that each girl has the power to exercise
her potential. We recognize the importance of amplifying girls' voices
and advocating for their inclusion in changemaking spaces. By
supporting and investing in girls, we can make the world a better
place. We celebrate IDG not only to give girls a platform to speak
out, but to share girls' achievements, triumphs, and contributions as
we build towards a brighter and more equitable future for girls
everywhere.
This year we're celebrating IDG with a SWAP-a-Thon.
Girl Scouts will hear from guest speakers and enjoy interactive
stations. We encourage troops to sign up to host a SWAP table and
guide other Girl Scouts in creating your SWAP. You will need to
provide your own materials to make your SWAP with Girl Scout sisters.
There will be a designated time for participants to walk around the
SWAP-a-Thon, create, craft, trade, and SWAP until you drop!
Girl
Scouts registration includes a custom fun patch and the opportunity to
make and take home a lot of SWAPs!
