Don't judge a book by it's cover; instead, learn to make the cover!
Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts are invited to visit the
Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art for a Book Artist workshop.
Learn artist techniques of bookbinding, cover art styles, and more to
tell a story with your book cover. Participants will have the
opportunity to engage with exhibits from The Jule Museum's
collections, even going behind the scenes of the museum! In addition,
they will have the opportunity to experiment with a range cover art
techniques and processes and will be able to take home some of their
own creations. All supplies are provided for you, and Cadettes will
earn and receive the Book Artist Badge for attending.
