1) What year did you become involved/take on your current role in your SU?
I stepped into my role as Service Unit Manager in 2026, building on my experience as a Troop Leader and active volunteer.
2) What area does your SU cover?
Service Unit 914 serves the Montgomery, Alabama area. We have a strong network of troops across the city, and I love how we support one another while working toward a shared mission.
3) When and where does your SU meet?
We have not had an opportunity to meet yet. I formally stepped into this role at the beginning of cookie season, which has kept everyone extremely busy. I’m looking forward to bringing everyone together soon and establishing a consistent time and place for our Service Unit meetings here in Montgomery.
4) What is your favorite type of GS activity?
Entrepreneurship is my favorite, especially during cookie season. It gives girls the chance to build confidence, develop communication skills, and take ownership of their goals.
5) What is your SU's claim to fame?
Our Service Unit is known for showing up—for our girls and for our community. Whether it’s cookie season, service projects, or youth-focused events, we stay engaged and committed to making a positive impact.
6) What do you look forward to the most in your role with the SU?
I look forward to building strong connections with troop leaders and volunteers and creating a support system where everyone feels encouraged, equipped, and not alone in this work.
7) What achievement are you most proud of when it comes to Girl Scouts?
I’m most proud of the growth I’ve seen in the girls—watching them become more confident, more vocal, and more willing to step into leadership roles.
8) What is your favorite memory with Girl Scouts?
My favorite part of Girl Scouts has been watching the growth in the girls over the years—seeing their confidence build, their voices get stronger, and their leadership skills develop. Just as special is the sisterhood they create within the troop. The bonds they form, the way they support each other, and the friendships they build along the way truly stand out to me.
