Get ready to Canoe, Kayak, and Paddle Board!
Girl Scouts will try out three different paddle sports, learn paddle maneuvers, and practice proper boat safety. By the end of the day, paddlers will be confident in their small boating skills! Adults are welcome to attend for free but will not be participating in boating activities. All participants will need to bring a lunch for Saturday. This helps us to have more time and fun out on the water!
Please make sure to pack sunscreen, swimsuit, water shoes, sunglasses with a strap, and a hat. A life vest will be provided for all Girl Scouts. Girls are welcome to bring their own personal certified life vest.
Seniors will earn their Paddle Badge and Juniors, Cadettes, and Ambassadors will earn a fun patch. Due to the focus on paddle sports, girls attending need to be comfortable in the water.
