Grab your pencil and head outdoors! Visit Pratt Park for a class on Nature Journaling for ages 6 to 106. Girl Scouts and Adults will connect with the natural world around them and find your sense of place through journaling observations. By sketching and documenting nature, participants will have a better understanding of how things grow and change. Journaling allows you to slow down and notice the little things. In this class, you will learn what nature journaling is and how you can do it anywhere! Girl Scout and Adult registration includes a journal and the new Council's Own Patch for Nature Journaling. For adults that do not wish to participate, no registration is required.
Participants are welcome to bring a camp chair/lawn chair if you wish to get comfortable when journaling at a specific spot.
