You probably know Mardi Gras began in Mobile, but how much do you really know about it? We will explore the Carnival Museum, craft our own Mardi Gras masks, meet local Mardi Gras queens, catch a few throws, and learn about the traditions behind Mardi Gras. We will end the day with a Girl Scout mini Mardi Gras Ball and King Cake! Attendees will cover some of the requirements for the Council's Own Mardi Gras Patch. Participants will receive a custom event patch. This is NOT a formal event and attendees can come dressed in Girl Scout uniforms or Mardi Gras inspired outfits if they wish.
Due to the limited number of participants troops may only have the number of adults attend as required by safety guidelines.
