Splash in and suit up to discover Montgomery Whitewater and Canopy Ridge! With the help of a raft guide, you and fellow Girl Scouts will experience an action-packed whitewater rafting trip, and new this year, participants will traverse the Canopy Ridge zipline and ropes course. Your registration includes a bundle pass for Whitewater Rafting and the Canopy Ridge Traverse along with a custom fun patch.

Canopy Ridge is an aerial high ropes course where participants navigate a series of elevated obstacles and ziplines. Canopy Ridge features two separate zipline courses with 16 elements and 7 zipline segments that range from 50 to 165 feet long. This self-navigating course typically takes 90 minutes to complete; however, this time frame may vary based upon skill level and group size.

Please Note: Manufacturer safety guidelines require all Canopy Ridge Traverse participants to be between 75 and 275 lbs. All participants must be weighed at check-in and have a reach height of 6'.

As for the rafting, the man-made channels mimic a natural river perfect for beginners to intermediate paddlers. The 2,200-foot-long Creek Channel is designed for a Class II whitewater experience and is an excellent introduction to whitewater. A step up from the Creek Channel, the 1,600-foot-long Competition Channel is an incredible playground for those with more advanced skills and is ideal for even the novice rafter looking to take on bigger rapids. Both channels intersect in the lower pond to the takeout or back up the conveyor belt for another run! Rafts can hold up to 6 paddlers and the raft guide. Larger groups than 6 can be split into separate rafts.

The ability to swim is not required to whitewater raft but is highly recommended. Participants will wear a life vest and helmet at all times while on the water. Although there is no maximum weight limit for whitewater rafting, all guests must be able to fit in a life vest which allows for a 55" limit chest size.

If you plan on whitewater rafting, plan to get completely wet! Make sure to wear a bathing suit and bring a change of clothes. Secure water shoes are required (no Crocs). Montgomery Whitewater offers rental shoes and shoes for purchase in the outfitter store. There is a small changing area in the bathrooms at Base Camp and an area at the Raft Barn, with free lockers available for your valuables.

Tagalongs are welcome to watch from dry land at no cost! It is free to enter Montgomery Whitewater, and there is a restaurant on property with food and drinks available for purchase. Participants will need to provide their own lunch. There will be a designated lunch break between scheduled rafting and ropes course time. Feel free to visit Eddy's restaraunt on property or drive a short distance downtown to enjoy one of Montgomery's local eateries.

Please note the physical height and weight requirements to participate in the Canopy Ridge Traverse.
All minors must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver to participate.
