How to Become a Media G.I.R.L. 

Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama’s Media G.I.R.L. Program is a year-long commitment available to Girl Scouts. Every year we look for 15-20 Girl Scouts who exude courage, confidence and character to join the Media G.I.R.L.s Team. This team of Go-getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers and Leaders are the official faces and voices of GSSA. 

A Media G.I.R.L.’s role is to share her personal experiences and skills learned through participation in Girl Scouts. This program gives girls the chance to be included in various media opportunities, be invited to participate in special events and attend business functions with GSSA staff members. If chosen and all responsibilities are completed, they will receive a Media G.I.R.L. patch!
