This program covers this (these) Girl Scout Outcome(s):
Sense of Self – Girls have the confidence in themselves and their abilities and form positive identities.
Positive Values – Girls act ethically, honestly, and responsibly, and show concern for others.

Storybook Farm is hosting the Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama for a morning on the farm! Located in Cusseta, Storybook Farm is an equestrian facility that not only trains Auburn University equestrians but Olympians as well!
Girls of ALL ages are welcome to attend this event and will learn about grooming and caring for horses, horse safety, riding equipment and gear, and lots more!
Brownies will earn a portion of our council’s own Bit and Bridle Badge, and Juniors will have the opportunity to work on their Horseback Riding Badge. Unfortunately, the only part the girls will not be able to earn at this event will be the actual riding portion.
**Due to social distancing guidelines we will not be able to participate in horseback riding**
