Hometown Heroes
With Hometown Heroes you can support different causes at the same time—a girl-led cookie business, active military personnel, local first responders, and other non-profit organizations that are making a difference every day.
Hometown Heroes donations can be made during the cookie program. Donations are made in $5.00 increments with a Girl Scout on her Girl Order Card, online with Digital Cookie, or at a Cookie Booth.
During the 2022 Girl Scout Cookie Program, our troops collectively sold 6,540 boxes of cookies through the Hometown Heroes program.

Hometown Heroes Sponsorships
Through your corporate sponsorship, you can support Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama’s Hometown Heroes. This is a great way to donate cookies to active military personnel, local first responders, and other non-profit organizations that are making a difference every day. After the cost of cookies, 100% of the proceeds stay in our community to help support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
