Mobile Program Facilitator

Job Description: Part-time Program Facilitator needed to lead multiple outreach programs in the Mobile area. Program delivery sites include, but are not limited to, local elementary schools, Head Start centers and juvenile detention facilities. Facilitator will deliver prepared programs, as well as develop original programming based on Girl Scout resources. Additional duties include developing and leading arts/crafts and other interactive activities, organizing program-related events, arranging guest speakers, interacting with site staff and parents, maintaining program documentation and purchasing supplies. Training will be provided.

 Requirements: good presentation, communication and organization skills, basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, ability to work with minimal supervision, flexible schedule, good rapport with girls of all ages. Must have own transportation.

 Salary: $12/hr., plus mileage

Montgomery Program Facilitator

Job Description: Part-time Program Facilitators needed to present pre-literacy program in Montgomery-area Head Start centers. Facilitator will deliver a prepared 6-session program during the school day in the spring 2010 semester. The program will begin in March. Training will be provided.

 Requirements: good presentation, communication and organization skills. Candidate must have own transportation and be available weekday mornings 8am-noon.

 Salary: $10/hr., plus mileage

Job Description: Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama seeks a program facilitator to work with 1st and 2nd graders  at T.S. Morris Elementary School in Montgomery.  The facilitator will deliver a prepared, 6-session Girl Scouts literacy program during the school day in the Fall 2009 semester.  The program will begin as soon as possible with a flexible schedule.  Training will be provided.

GSSA is seeking applicants for the position of Program Facilitator for the Mobile Housing Board Youth Mentoring afterschool program.

 

Job Description: This individual acts as troop leader and mentor to girls participating in the program.  Applicant must be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the afternoon and occasionally on weekends.  Duties include supervising girls participating in the program and developing appropriate activities for the girls based on provided resource materials.  Program Facilitator assists in cultivating adult volunteers and girl members from within the community.  Timely completion and maintenance of required paperwork and reports is required.  Training will be provided.

 

Requirements: Good rapport with children and creativity in developing activities.  Excellent organizational skills, initiative and a flexible schedule. Applicant must have own transportation.

The Girl Scouts is establishing troops at McIntosh Elementary in Washington County through their 21 Century Afterschool Program. Three part-time, temporary Program Facilitators are needed during the afterschool hours on Tuesdays to deliver prepared Scouting activities with the girls enrolled.  Training and supplies provided.
