Our Montgomery Service Center will open a Volunteer Center on February 1! The Volunteer Center is a great place to have meetings, special events such as bridging, or even overnight events.
You can find the Reservation and Kaper forms on the Forms & Resouces page of our web site, under the Property section.
Reservations are now being accepted, so take advantage of our new Volunteer Center for your next event!
As a council, we purchase additional activity insurance for
events that may include tagalongs who are not registered Girl Scouts (like moms,
dads, brothers, sisters, etc.). We encourage you to purchase this insurance, as
well, when you are planning events that involve non-registered individuals, as a
safety precaution. We particularly advise you to do so if the events include
the following: horseback riding, archery, and other shooting
sports.
At about 11 cents per person, activity insurance is an
inexpensive way to provide additional protection for those attending your
events. If you would like to purchase this insurance, please contact Christine

Here's some tidbits of interest for Cookie Leaders:
Patches for troops choosing NO incentives: Troops will still receive patches, even if they choose to not receive incentives. Your cookie chair will order these incentives with the other final incentives at the end of the sale.
Pewter Figurines: Was your troop concerned that there was no little pewter figure as an incentive this year? Lots of Girl Scouts collect them every year! They are back! This year's figurine is an elephant to match the theme of the cookie sale and is available in the council shop for sale for $6.
