Colorado Girl Scouts to star on Food Network May 28

Each week, the Food Network Show Unwrapped uncovers behind-the-scenes details on classic American food, from peanut butter and chocolate syrup to French fries and bubblegum.  And now they've turned their eyes to Girl Scout Cookies!

Back in January, Girl Scouts of Colorado participated in a filming for this segment and we can't wait to see it.  We recently received word that this show will air May 28 at 7 p.m. on the Food Network. The Unwrapped website <http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_cw>  will have all the information on show times in different areas and a repeat schedule.

In addition to the shots of the Colorado Girl Scouts, this segment will also include scenes from Kentucky's Little Brownie Bakers, Girl Scouts of Colorado's cookie bakery, and interviews with a Girl Scouts of the USA marketing exec.

The Unwrapped episode is called "All American Eats" and in addition to Girl Scout Cookies will feature products such as Albanese Army Gummies, Bonomo Turkish Taffy, Coca-Cola, Hungry Jack Hashbrowns, Jack Daniels Whiskey, Land O' Lakes American Cheese, Little Debbie Creme Pies, Nestle Drumsticks, Shearer's Hot Dog Potato Chips, Starbucks Frappuccino and Twinkies.

Let's tune in -- it will be great fun to see our sister Girl Scouts and how our cookies are made!
