Participate in BOTH World Water Monitoring Day and National Public Lands Day and get a FREE Test Kit

World Water Monitoring Day (WWMD) will once again be offering free water monitoring kits to Girl Scouts if they register for both WWMD and National Public Lands Day (NPLD).  There was great participation from Girl Scouts last year and WWMD is excited to see what this year brings.

To receive a free kit, troops must register with WWMD and indicate that they are affiliated with NPLD, or register with NPLD and indicate that they are affiliated with WWMD (registration is free through both programs).  Participation in the WWMD program can help Girl Scouts earn credit toward the Get With the Land or Water Drop patches.  Kits will be shipped between now and September as long as supplies last. Please contact wwmd@wef.org with questions.

Way to go, girls!

Cadette Troop 9785 is leading the way with the assistance of their leader Sherry Williams.  They are currently working in conjunction with the Family Sunshine Center in Montgomery and are collecting new towels to help women/children in unhealthy domestic situations.

If you have any towels you would like to donate, please contact:

Sherry Williams 334-669-9281

Tatia Williams   334-462-0595

Is your troop working on a service project?  We'd love to know!
