Great ideas, out of the mouths of babes

liz_brent.jpgI worked in higher education for 30 years.   During that time, we moved from doing room assignments on a plastic-coated board, to roommate matching software.    We went from a telephone on the hall for 42 residents, to one in every room.   For 30 years, I learned from college students on a daily basis.   As the CEO of this council, I learn things from our girls all the time.   I had a volunteer talking about how she was with a group of girls who suggested a better idea on how to do something that was always done one way.   Guess what, it worked much better.   We can always learn, especially from those we hope we are teaching.
