How Do You Run Your Troop Web Site (or Communications)?

| | Comments (1)
We want to know how you use technology to help run your troop.

Do you have a favorite scouting web site service to help you with email, scheduling, posting photos, or even forums?  Here's a popular option:

Do you have a more traditional troop web site where you upload information and photos?  Do you use group email to send out announcements?

Do you involve your girls in the development and maintenance of your web site?

An important thing to keep in mind however you use the internet is to read and follow the GSUSA guidelines, such as never post meeting locations and times where the general public could view them; don't post girls' last names, and other common sense ways to keep our girls safe.  It also has great information on setting up a web site.

Let us know in the comments how you make the internet work for you!

Okay, I'll bite...I use google email to send out group emails to my troop moms (and those girls who have email addys). I love the idea of a calendar, instead of me listing each event in an email. I'm gonna check this out!
