Condolences for Emily

| | Comments (6)

edunnam.jpgSince the age of six, Emily was a Girl Scout in Cori Yonge's troop 8442 in Fairhope. She died two days ago when the ATV she was riding flipped and ejected her.  Emily was a wonderful, well-rounded young lady who turned 13 April 4. She was an award-winning athlete who loved nothing better than a good game of soccer or a long run through Fairhope's neighborhoods. Emily also rode a unicycle in the Fairhope Middle School unicycle club, and along with her fellow Girl Scouts from troop 8442, she was recently inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.

Emily is pictured "walking on the moon" at space camp in Huntsville this past December. The girls used their cookie money to take the trip.

Our thoughts are with the Girl Scouts from Troop 8442, and Emily's parents, Beverly and Ellis Dunnam.  If you would like to share your condolences with Troop 8442 and the Dunnams, please post your comments here, and we will pass them on.
