Did you know that an impression is made within the first seven seconds of meeting someone? Seven seconds is an extremely small amount of time, so you must rely on your etiquette skills and social graces to ace that first impression. Having social grace means that you can maneuver through any situation with ease.
Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to work with the Kappa Delta sisters to earn the "Mannerly Me" etiquette patch. Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. the Kappa Deltas at the University of South Alabama will host a Spring Tea for Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes. Girls will also make Kentucky Derby hats to bring home. Lunch is included.
Grade Level: Juniors and Cadettes
Fee: $5 per participant (two adults free) Due to space constraints, please only bring enough adults to satisfy Safety Wise.
Minimum: 15 Maximum: 30
Dress: Sundress or Sunday best
Where: Kappa Delta house at the University of South Alabama campus.
