Why not some of the other schools in our area?

This program was funded by a 21st Century Grant that was specific to that particular school. The Outreach Department of Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama works hard to secure funding to start troops or put on programs at schools or other venues throughout the Council- especially for low-income and underserved girls. Our goal truly is to serve "every girl everywhere", but unfortunately, resources are limited, so programs are not always possible at all the locations we might like to serve. We are always looking for new sources of grant funding and new schools or programs to collaborate with so please feel free to contact us if you have suggestions or further questions about our Outreach Programs.
