Give Your Service Unit
a Hand!

Even if your Volunteers don't have time to be a troop leader, there are many ways to be "hands-on" with a smaller time commitment.

Your Service Unit is made up of several troops in a local area. Your Service Unit Manager needs individuals to help with:

  • Finances (SU Treasurer)
  • Planning SU Events
  • Mentoring New Troop Leaders
  • SU Fall Product Coordinator
  • SU Cookie Coordinator
  • Assisting with the membership drive


These are just a few of the volunteer positions that help keep a Service Unit running smoothly for all our girls!

If you are a new volunteer to Girl Scouting, here's how to get started.

Early Bird Registration (by August 1)
Early Bird registration gives current Girl Scouts and Troops the opportunity to be included in exclusive offers on upcoming events.

On Time Registration (by October 1)
Fall Festivals at Camp Humming Hills and Kamp Kiwanis are being planned for troops registered by the official start of the Girl Scout Year.

 

Planning to Go Camping or Attend a Camporee?
Remember, your troop must have a volunteer who is certified in Basic Troop Camping Skills. We have scheduled these overnight sessions to make sure troops have the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors!
