Want to find out what other troops are up to? Be a Pen Pal! Pen Pal link requests are made every day by troops nationwide. Your troop can share information on special interests, school, Girl Scout activities, as well as information on your state or even your own neighborhood through sharing pictures, sketches, games, songs, etc.
Being a Pen Pal requires that your troop make a commitment to another troop for at least one year of correspondence. Pen Pals are NOT to use this program for completing badge requirements or for providing input for a Thinking Day activity/project. International Pen Pal links are no longer available through this program. Pen Pal requests for Hawaii cannot be made through this form. Those requests must be made through the Girl Scout Councils of Hawaii. To locate a council in Hawaii, visit www.girlscouts.org/councilfinder/.
Troop Leaders can request pen pals in the state of their choice simply by writing your top three choices on the back of the Event Registration form (Please indicate 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice. Every effort will be made to link your troop with your state choices, but we ask you to please be flexible.) and returning it to the Montgomery Service Center. Remember, the sooner your troop links with another troop, the more fun they will have with their Pen Pals throughout the year!
