Recognitions Update

The pewter dogs have been shipped out and backpacks will be shipped out soon.  The shower microphones did not pass Little Brownie Baker's inspections, and will be replaced with Movie Cash (worth $12).  Girls will receive a certificate that is presented by the user to the movie theater.  The expiration date is December 31, 2008.  Certificates CANNOT be replaced if lost, so please make sure each girl receives the Movie Cash.  We will continue to send updates as they become available.  To check out the movie theater locations, click here.

Girl Scout Cookie Sales -- GREAT Job, Everyone!

Thanks to all the girls and volunteers who made the 2008 cookie sale a great success! Your efforts fund programs for girls right here in Southern Alabama.

Many of our troops participated in the Gift of Caring Program, through which community members purchase cookies to be donated to charitable organizations (such as Ronald McDonald House) and our troops overseas.

The Girl Scout cookie program is the best business literacy program in the world for girls. Girls learn to set goals, manage funds, practice safety habits, and promote local charities while raising money for troop and Council activities. And they have a great time!
