If your troop is looking for a place to have an all night party, special event or just a place to have an overnight retreat, remember the Earline Locke Volunteer Center is available for your use.
Program Possibilities: Your troop can plan day trips to local places of interest, such as the University of South Alabama, Mobile Museum of Art, Exploreum, Bellingrath Gardens, the beaches, the local train stations or even a troop shopping spree - and use the Earline Locke Volunteer Center to spend the night after your day of fun and adventure.
Notes: There is a full kitchen and shower available. A television and VCR are available for use during your stay, however no beds are provided. Visitors should be prepared to bring sleeping bags and air mattresses for their stay. Additional supplies available for check-out include flags, ceremonial logs, and a karaoke machine at Juliette’s Pearls Retail Shop at the Mobile Service Center. And while there is a fire ring outside the facility, open fires are not allowed due to city fire codes. Charcoal and/or propane fuels are allowed, but grills are not provided.
