Kamp Kiwanis is also looking for nurses. Dates needed are: June 19-June 24, and/or July 3-8. You have the option to be paid staff (pay is modest) or you can volunteer as the camp nurse, and bring one camper (daughter/granddaughter) free for each week that you volunteer. We are looking for an RN, LPN, or emergency first responder licensee.

The Outreach Program Facilitator delivers outreach programs in the River Region. Facilitators present academic enhancement programs and the Girl Scout Leadership program in Head Start Centers and local elementary schools in the River Region. S/he works collaboratively with the Outreach Specialist and other outreach staff to fulfill the requirements of funded initiatives including direct program delivery, organizing program-related events, maintenance of records and reports and communication with community partners. Job Description: Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama seeks a program aid to assist the program coordinator with troop activities for a special-needs troop at the Vivian B Adams School in Ozark. The troop meets Wednesday mornings twice a month and occasionally takes special outings.
Requirement: Good rapport with special needs women and girls. Good organizational skills. Must be available Wednesday mornings and as needed for occasional special trips. Must have own transportation.

The Girl Scouts is establishing troops at McIntosh Elementary in Washington County through their 21 Century Afterschool Program. Three part-time, temporary Program Facilitators are needed during the afterschool hours on Tuesdays to deliver prepared Scouting activities with the girls enrolled. Training and supplies provided.
