Do you think it's too much work to participate in the Fall Product Sale?

Actually, we have been working to make the fall product sale easier, so if it sounds too much like cookie chaos, think again.   This sale is done via an order sheet, much like the cookie pre-sale.    We have changed vendors, because I was even confused about what software to get on last year to make an order.  We felt it needed to be easier, since you are doing many other important things.   We have put incentives in the program, hopefully giving the girls some reason to get involved.

The proceeds from the sale go to the troop, so it provides some early funds for troop operations.   Given the number of troops planning to travel next summer, this is a good opportunity to get some funds early. If you are interested in participating in the fall product sale, it's not too late.  Just contact Cheryl Miller or Teri Eversole, and they'll get you on the right track.

All Service Unit team members, troop leaders and troop product sales chairs are invited!

Trophy Nut will hold their Fall Product training. You will also have the chance to get to know our new baker, and get a sneak peek into the upcoming cookie program.

We want to make sure your troops can access the information they need on the Trophy Nut website.  To do this, Service Unit Fall Product Chairs should be sure to remove the "Check" from the  Troop has Read Only Access Box when they create new troops.  If a leader calls and states she can enter only one girl, then the Troop has Read Only Access Box is checked and must be corrected by the Service Unit Fall Product Chair, so that she can enter the proper information.  If you make sure to take this simple step now, you can avoid lots of phone calls later!

Our Fall Product Sale starts Sep. 25, 2009.  Your troop will earn $1 for each candy item sold and $2 or $3 for Magazine Vouchers. This is a quick and easy way to earn extra money for your troop.  Need information on how to get started?  Contact Chris Shavers

You can get trained for Fall Product right from the comfort of your home!  Online training is available - to get access, contact Chris Shavers or your Service Unit Product Chair.

Internet Safety Pledge

This year, fall product sale chairs and troop leaders have three options for fall product sale training.  You can either complete a special online training that will be offered, or you can attend an in-person training - or both!  The online training will be available soon, and the "in-person" trainings will be Saturday, August 15, at the Montgomery Volunteer Center from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (lunch served), and Sunday, August 16, at the Mobile Volunteer Center from 2:30-4:30 p.m. (snack served).

If you plan to attend either "in-person" training, please contact Teri Eversole (ext. 1302) for the Mobile Volunteer Center training and Cheryl Miller (ext. 2302) for the Montgomery Volunteer Center training.  Fall product sale chairs, service unit managers, troop leaders and troop cookie chairs all are invited to attend the training of their choice.  There's also Fall Product information up on our website - check it out!
