The Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame is a national program that was created to honor every day people (including teens and kids!) with energetic spirit who strive to make a positive difference in their communities. The program looks for people who live with the same perseverance and determination as the Energizer Bunny -- people who inspire others with their unstoppable energy.

Nominees will be narrowed to a field of 100 semifinalists who will be honored in their hometowns.  Then, the judges will select nine finalists, and the Energizer Bunny's Facebook fans will vote on the 10th. All ten finalists' names and stories will be posted online.  At that point, America will be given a chance to select the inductee through an online vote. The voting will take place beginning April 4, 2011, and continuing through May 14, 2011. The Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame inductee will attend a special induction ceremony at the Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame in St. Louis, Mo. The inductee will also receive a $10,000 cash award and an additional $5,000 will be donated to the charity of his/her choice. Each finalist will also get $1,000 donated to the charity of his/her choice.

Justine magazine is now promoting their 2011 R.E.A.L. (Remarkable. Energetic. Aspirational. Leader) Girl Contest. One girl who is a current Girl Scout between the ages of 13-19 will be selected the winner and appear on an upcoming 2011 Justine cover and in a feature article. The winner will receive an all-expense-paid trip to her Justine cover shoot and a Justine swag bag. Finalists and semi-finalists will also be chosen.

Take a moment and vote to help sister Girl Scouts win a $50,000 grant! The Aetna Foundation is hosting a Fight Childhood Obesity Grant Contest on its Website and Girl Scouts of Connecticut has been selected as one of 10 organizations nationwide to compete to win the $50,000 grant. The funds would enhance Girl Scouts of Connecticut's new Live Healthy, Lead Healthy program for girls.

The Aetna Foundation will award the grant to the organization that receives the most number of votes, so everyone's vote is vital! Each year, in affiliation with The Library of Congress Center for the Book, River of Words conducts a free international poetry and art contest for youth on the theme of watersheds. The contest is designed to help students explore the natural and cultural history of the place they live, and to express, through poetry and art, what they discover.
