Girl Scouts in southern Alabama have been very busy this spring. Press Rep Morgan A. said she has been working hard on Camporee, since it's only a couple weekends away. This year her troop is running it and they are busy wrapping up all of the details. Morgan said, "The theme is under the sea. We have a lot of activities and they are set into groups. We have eco-shopping, water consumption, recycling and pollution, and some surprises!" It sounds like the girls will be learning with some really cool activities - way to go, girls!
Press Reps Aliyah and Cheyenne and some of their Troop (9041) visited Ellen Brooks, past-chair of our board of directors, at her church on Girl Scout Sunday. Aliyah also participated in another Girl Scout Sunday gathering at True Divine Baptist Church with her Service Unit (612).
Now you know what fellow Girl Scouts have been doing, what have you been up to?
