Camp Opportunity for Girl Scouts

|

Attention sixth grade Girl Scouts! If you are interested in learning about preparedness and awareness of emergency situations there is a fun, educational camp program just for you. Be Ready camp is a hands on learning experience designed to teach sixth graders about preparing for an emergency, first aid, family disaster plans, terrorism awareness and many other related topics.

Applicants chosen for camp spend five days at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala. Camp concludes with a mock disaster, which participants respond to and a graduation ceremony held the last morning of camp. Visit Be Ready camp's website for more information. The camp is free for those selected. This is a great opportunity for you, Girl Scouts!
