Girl Scout Press Reps are girls across the council who apply to represent Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama. After interviewing and training for their positions, girls are ready for the experience of girl-led public relations for the council. Throughout the membership year, Press Reps write articles on the Girl Blog.
We hope you enjoy getting to know Sarah. Sarah's favorite thing about being a Girl Scout is getting to interact with other people, and meet new girls. After selling more than 500 boxes of cookies last year, Sarah's troop donated part of the proceeds to charities and also went to the zoo.
I went to the Birmingham Zoo for a "Zoo Snooze" to spend the night. We went with a lot of other troops. Even though it was crowded, I had a really good time. I went through a cool tour, and saw animals sleeping! There was a camel and it whined all night. It rained, but I slept like a baby. I had a very good time, and I won't forget it ever.
